MVSD PROVIDING STUDENT MEALS WITH DISTRIBUTION AT LOCAL CHURCHES

The Mountain View School District is committed to ensuring our students are fed during this school closure. We will be providing prepackaged breakfast and lunch meals to local churches for distribution to students March 17 - March 20 from 10:30 to 12:30.
Meals may be picked up at:
Antioch Baptist Church
First United Methodist Church
Flatwoods Baptist Church
First Baptist Church
Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
56 Baptist Church
Timbo Valley Assembly of God
Meals will be given out on a first come first serve basis.

A huge thank you to Antioch Church, Rachelle Stewart, Heather Berry, and Lindsey Sutterfield for all your hard work today passing out the school lunches. Mr Barham and I also want to thank Mrs Bridgett and Mrs Marilyn for preparing lunches for this week. You all are amazing. We were glad to be able to serve our students and their needs today.

Some students were not able to attend, but Mr. Ty Pitcock delivered and picked up projects for those students so they were still able to compete.
Rural Special Elem Quiz Bowl made it to the Elite 8 today (with a very young team). All classifications of schools across our Educational Cooperative were represented today. Proud of our kiddos. (And yes, of course we have to act goofy some) 😉. Mrs Hughes’ Mtn. View Yellow Jackets beat us and are still going strong representing our district. Good luck
