Rural Special...Day #1 is in the books for Rural Special School 2023!! We have experienced a fantastic start to this academic year! We extend our gratitude to the parents for their invaluable support, which has greatly contributed to the success of this day. And, thank you for your patience and understanding when picking up your child/children after school. We are thankful for a great beginning and look forward to a wonderful year!

RS: Monday is an incentive day for students in grades K-10 who showed growth on their MAPS testing. They have all received a note indicating if they have their incentive day or if they need to come to school.

RSHS: Our local churches sponsored baccalaureate to honor our seniors last night. Upcoming events:

Friday morning- senior breakfast/senior awards
Saturday- graduation at 7:00pm
RSHS: Due to the convenience of having an already decorated venue, and a very busy week full of activities, the athletic banquet will be held Thursday at 6:00pm at the Antioch Outreach Center.

RS: A huge THANK YOU to our Rural Special PTO for catering a delicious lunch for all of us at RS! We definitely feel appreciated! Our PTO does a lot for our school, and we appreciate them greatly!
Rural Special...A big shout-out to Rural Special Music Roots students!! They sure know how to put on a show. Also, thank you Dave Smith and Kathy Jenson for your time and effort in teaching them. Great concert at the Ozark Folk Center!
RS: ACT Aspire testing will begin next week (April 17-21). We will test Monday-Thursday, with Friday being make-up testing and an incentive day for those who put forth their best effort during testing. Please help us by ensuring that students are well rested and present each day for testing. Thank you!
RSES: Mrs Sutterfield's 3rd grade had a tasty math lesson today. They are studying fractions by making pizzas, dividing them, discussing fractions, and then enjoying them of course!
