
The Mountain View School District will use an AMI day tomorrow, Thursday January 20, due to winter weather conditions. Again, no school tomorrow due to winter weather.

MVES - A.M.I. work from last week (Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3) must be returned completed tomorrow, January 20. Students will not receive credit if work is not returned. Thank you for your assistance.

MVES - Who says there is no learning on a party day?!?! Not our 4th graders doing a super fun STEM Challenge- the longest paper chain contest!!
Students made the longest paper chain they could out of one sheet of construction paper and then measured to the nearest centimeter. Great job!!





MVES - Fourth graders worked hard to convince Santa that these “villains” should be moved to the “Nice List” using strong opinion writing. A big thanks to Mrs. Sutterfield for helping students create the villain masks that allowed them to get into character!!



MVES - Charles S. Schultz said, “Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone.” Jayce took this saying to heart and gave the bike he won to his friend, Wylie, whose bike had broken.

The Mountain View School District Board of Education, at its regular meeting tonight, voted to make the wearing of masks optional in school buildings and at events on every campus. This will begin immediately.
However, Masks will continue to be mandatory on all school buses in the district.

Due to the Arkansas Department of Health and achi.net not updating Covid 19 data due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Mountain View School District will remain mask optional in all buildings across the district for the week of November 29 through December 3.

MVES - Our fourth graders ended the October wrap up by wrapping each other up & creating spooky characters!





MVES - Fourth graders shared spooky stories with flashlight reading! And held their audience captive with their story telling!





MVES “wrapped up” October with fun activities! Mrs. Jessen’s first graders did a STEM project with students building a house to trap a ghost!
