Mountain View Elementary is hosting an ONLINE ONLY Scholastic Book Fair. You can shop any time between now and Sunday, February 7. All orders ship directly to your home and shipping is free on book-only orders over $25. This is a great opportunity to increase your child's home library. MVES - HAPPY NEW YEAR!! As we return to school tomorrow, we would like to inform you of a change in the morning drop off routine. Following the CDC guidelines, we will no longer be doing morning temperature checks. We do encourage parents to continue monitoring their child’s health and to please keep your child at home if they are sick. We will continue to assess students at school if they become sick. All teachers have a thermometer in their classroom and students will be sent to Nurse Hollie as needed. We appreciate your diligence in helping us maintain a safe learning environment for our students. Parents have been our greatest ally in our fight against COVID-19. We look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow!

MVES - Blended Learning will continue through the week of December 7-11. Students who chose to learn from home will need to pick up Chromebooks and/or packets tomorrow, Friday, December 4 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We will also be distributing a week’s supply of meals for all students who will be learning from home next week. This includes our distance and quarantined students, as well. All items will be distributed under the awning at Mountain View Elementary School. Mountain View Pre-K will be open regular hours the week of December 7-11. Thank you.

MVES - We are passing out breakfasts & lunches for all students who are home today and tomorrow for our Blended Learning Days. You may come to the Elementary under the awning. Food will be available 2:30 p.m. Thank you!

MVES - Mountain View Elementary would like to thank Centennial Bank for supporting our students and staff. From Chromebooks in the Classroom to Pizza Hut cards for our staff to jackets for our office staff to hot chocolate on this chilly morning, Centennial Bank goes above and beyond! Thank you!

MVES - Make-up pictures will be taken on Thursday, December 3 at 8:00 a.m. Any distance learning students who missed the original picture day and would like to have their picture taken should be at the elementary school by 8:15 a.m.

MVES - Friday, November 20 is a Distance Learning Day for Mountain View Elementary students. Students will work from home and teachers will be available at school from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Packets, along with a breakfast and lunch were sent home today. Packets must be returned on Monday, November 30. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

MVES - Congratulations to the Mountain View Campus Spelling Bee winners. We had students in grades third through eighth competing. 1st - Erin Akins (5th Grade) 2nd - Morgan Beck (6th Grade) 3rd - Kylah Rogers (8th Grade) Alternate- Jay Prasad (7th Grade) Our first, second, and third place winners will advance to the County Spelling Bee, which will be held at the Timbo Campus on December 10. Good Luck!!
