MVES - We are so proud of our 4th grade Music Roots students. They have worked so hard learning their instruments this year and did a wonderful job at their recital.

MVES - Today, we kicked off our Earth Day module by cleaning up our playground and sorting recyclables from garbage. We even got the chance to visit with a goose this morning and a toad this afternoon! They were glad to see nature being taken care of. 😁

MVES - Registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten at Mountain View will be Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 8:00 – 12:00 and 1:00 – 4:00 in the Kindergarten Building.
Documents required at registration for students going into Kindergarten
are immunization records, official birth certificate and social security card. Kindergarten students are required to have a physical before attending school. Students must be five on or before August 1, 2023, to enroll in kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year

MVES - It was a BRIGHT day in fourth grade as the students investigated how electrical energy requires a circuit by making their own mini flashlights from LEDs, button batteries, and strips of aluminum foil.

MVES - Second graders made leprechaun trap snacks today. They also created their own bugs and measured them in inches.

MVES - First graders spent St. Patrick’s Day finding money amounts at the end of our rainbows and comparing coin collections!🍀
MVES - After a week of learning about plant life cycles, Mrs. Adams' first grade class used bell peppers to stamp four-leaf clovers in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day!
MVES - Leprechauns were everywhere today!!! Second graders stacked and measured “fool’s gold” towers, then created forts to protect their "gold” from leprechauns.
MVES - A leprechaun left math riddles for us to solve in order to discover the hidden treasure in our room for St. Patrick’s Day! We had to add groups of tens and ones to find all the missing pieces!
MVES - Nothing like celebrating St. Patrick's Day by going on a leprechaun hunt and strengthening our visual skills!
MVES - Ms. Hughes' fourth grade GT class worked with the first 100 digits of Pi to celebrate Pi Day!
